How A Near-Death Experience Shifted My Life

How A Near-Death Experience Shifted My Life

I remember that night like it was yesterday. I was 22, feeling lost and alone in my tiny studio apartment. I had just snorted a few grams of cocaine, trying to numb the emptiness inside of me. But I didn't realize at the time that I was slowly killing myself.

As I lay on my bed, my heart pounding and sweat pouring down my face, I knew that this was it— I was going to die

But at that moment, something shifted. I realized I didn't want to die; I wanted to live. I want to heal. I wanted better for myself, and I couldn't keep doing this to myself.

It was a wake-up call, a moment of clarity that forced me to confront the root of my pain and suffering. All the emptiness I felt was from losing people I love, falling in love and being cheated on, raped, emotionally, physically, and verbally abused, etc.

I realized that the emptiness I felt resulted from unresolved trauma and fears I had been running from. I knew that if I wanted to truly heal and find peace, I needed to face those fears head-on.

This healing journey started with journaling and introspection. I began to tap into my Higher Self and gain a deeper understanding of myself and my needs. I also started creating action steps to improve my life and find fulfillment.

One of the first things I did was to seek help from spiritual healers. I needed someone to guide me through facing my fears and traumas. It wasn't easy, but I soon realized that the only way to TRULY heal was to confront the past head-on.

I also started to practice mindfulness and meditation. These practices helped me to become more present and to focus on what was truly important in my life. Being present in the moment allowed me to let go of the past.

I also started to make changes in my lifestyle. I quit drugs and alcohol and started to take better care of my physical and emotional well-being. I began to exercise regularly and eat a healthier diet. I also started to surround myself with positive, supportive people. I stopped hanging out with people who were all broken and who wanted easy nights to relieve themselves of their own pain and suffering.

It wasn't easy, but it was worth it. Over time, I began to feel better. I started to feel more at peace with myself and the world around me. I no longer felt the emptiness that had once consumed me.

If you are going through the same thing, I want to let you know that it's not easy… But it's worth it. You can heal and find peace by facing your fears and traumas head-on.

I invite you to take a hard look at your life and confront the demons holding you back.

This is why I created these journal prompts with action steps to help you connect with your Higher Self and make positive changes in your life. Don't let fear and trauma control your life any longer, and take the first step towards healing and true happiness.

It's a journey that has changed my life. And I know damn well it will change yours too! If you do the work, I promise you the results will follow.
